Sam Pena is the VP, Presales North America, for Pluralsight, an online technology skills platform that helps improve IT learning, skills development, and retention for their customers. He helps Pluralsight customers create repeatable processes and learning experiences that educate and promote personal and enterprise productivity.
Before joining Pluralsight, Sam’s career included positions working for both large scale technology corporations and start-up analytics vendors, including:
Solutions Architect for Interana, a big data behavioral analytics company founded by two ex-Facebook engineers
Manager, Financial Services Engineering team for Qlik, the 3rd largest visual data analytics platform as ranked by the Gartner Magic Quadrant*
Business Analyst for Deutsche Bank’s Market Data Services team, where he was responsible for building and deploying complex BI Solutions to Business Management.
Sam is also an adjunct professor at NYU, where he teaches Information Management and Data Analytics for the Master’s Program for the School of Professional Studies.
Sam has an MS in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
